Mohanad Alsaid
Founder & CEO
Mohanad Alsaid is the Founder & CEO of Alsaid Foundation. Since its inception in 2019, Mohanad has grown Alsaid Foundation into a reputable and impactful Nonprofit organization dedicated to continuous education and youth development for positive social impact. Prior to establishing Alsaid Foundation, Mohanad spent six years working with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals holding the United Nations Youth Representative position. He also took part in the Costa Rica Permanent Mission while with the United Nations and worked closely with Former Foreign Minister of Yemen Khaled al-Yamani. Additionally, Mohanad worked with the International Rescue Committee.
Outside of Alsaid Foundation, Mohanad is active in politics, focusing on issue advocacy by establishing a mentoring platform for young professionals interested in political involvement. His interests, both personally and professionally, include responding to issues within economic opportunity, counter extremism, and entrepreneurship. Mohanad is a youth advisor and currently a Term Member of the United Nations Foundation. He is also a member of both the World Economic Forum, and the Concordia Summit.

Khedidja Ouheb has 14+ years of experience in organizational design, program management, and Social Impact strategies. Khedidja is a creative visionary and strategic thinker who is passionate about organizational and leadership development and committed to the study of organizations and how they should find new ways of solving problems. For over 10 years, Khedidja managed multi-billion-dollar investment projects and supported collaborative initiatives between subcontractors, stakeholders, high-profile clients, and other program divisions. Khedidja has an Executive Master’s Degree in Global Business Management and excels at generating business growth and supporting teams, building networks, advising projects to help lead the way to implement social responsibility and sustainable practices.
She has helped various global organizations and corporations achieve results in organizational development and change management initiatives. She is skilled in business growth strategies, developing strategic partnership relationships, operations, leading cross-functional teams, and workload by promoting professional service excellence to increase value. Her professional interests lie at the intersection of adaptive leadership and change management, global development and continuously seeking innovative ways of solving social problems.

Sara Gallagher has over a decade of experience with startup nonprofit development in the United States and abroad. Ms. Gallagher works full time in business development space with a focus on public health and education in the Near East. In the past, Ms. Gallagher has assisted MENA embassies, the Department of Defense, and startup nonprofit agencies in enhancing their operations via business development, Board management, human resources, and volunteer management. Her career highlights include: A Fulbright Scholarship in Telavi, Georgia where she supported students and professors wishing to enhance their education abroad and promoted higher education to children vulnerable to recruitment by ISIS, generating over $3M in new business for refugee public health initiatives in the MENA Region and Southern Europe, and setting up governance structures for rapidly growing nonprofits in the United States and Yemen. She holds a MS in Nonprofit Management from the New School in New York.

Houssam Eddine Beggas is an Algerian journalist and communications consultant based in Montreal, Canada. He is the author of the forthcoming book entitled: Algeria’s Hirak Protest Movement: Media, Democratic Change and Human Rights. As a Fulbright Scholar from 2018-2020 at Seton Hall University, he earned a master’s in diplomacy and International Relations and was a co-editor and contributor to Seton Hall’s Journal of Diplomacy. He was a Research Assistant at the Seton Hall’s Center for Peace and Conflict Studies where he focused on dynamics of post-Arab Spring conflict resolution, particularly in Libya and Yemen. Prior to this, he was a communications consultant with the World Bank in Algeria and advised on projects with the Algerian government. He was the creator and lead anchor of El Djazairia TV’s “Pulse of the World,” a regional news and current events show. Houssam has extensive reporting experience, including as a sports news anchor with Numidia News, Stade News, and the online outlet Tout Sur l’Algerie. He earned his Bachelors in Interpretation and Translation from Constantine University in 2012, and a Master’s in Journalism and Communications from the Higher National School of Journalism of Algiers in 2016.

Duaa Helmi obtained a diploma in business administration from the Amman Training College in 2016 and was ranked amongst the top in the Kingdom. She completed her scientific career at the Hashemite University in 2018 and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
Duaa trained at the UNRWA (The United Nations Relief and Works Agency) for a period of three months and obtained a certificate. She has gained many skills through a variety of experiences that confirms her ability to do all the needed administrative work. She has worked within facility management in several companies, including Jo Power and TOP for plastic industries. Moreover, Duaa obtained a graphic design certificate from SEA Luminus College in 2010 and recently became an approved designer by Fire Marshalls and KBS Companies in Qatar. She has now joined the team of Alsaid Foundation and is responsible for Personnel Affairs, Social Media, and Graphic Design.
